I live in Henderson, NV (Las Vegas metro area) with my spouse. I've been in business for myself since 2012 and have spent much of my editing career working in the tech field. I graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor's degree in history and a certificate in East Asian studies.

Reading has always been a passion of mine, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to create a career around that interest. These days, most of my recreational reading consists of comic books or nonfiction books. A few of my all-time favorite books include:

• Kaibyō: The Supernatural Cats of Japan by Zack Davisson
• Quackery: A Brief History of the Worst Ways to Cure Everything by Lydia Kang, MD & Nate Pedersen

I also collect antique medical books, and I am quite proud of the fact that during my teenage years I spent one summer break reading all 1,463 pages of 1917's Domestic Medical Practice (because I'm just that much of a geek when it comes to reading and medical science).
